Earlier, it was reported that Mbappe will announce his decision about his future in the next few days.Mbappe is reportedly demanding €70m (£60m/$76m) annually and a transfer bonus of €125m (£107m/$136m) to finalise his move to Real Madrid, as per Sport Bild. The World Cup-winning forward is currently letting his contract run down at Paris Saint-Germain, and if these terms are not met by the summer of 2024, he will become a free agent. Speculation about a transfer to Spain for the 25-year-old French international has been ongoing for some time.Real Madrid is eager to secure Mbappe as their next 'Galactico' but negotiations on personal terms are proving challenging. This difficulty arises because Mbappe is asking for twice the amount that Los Blancos are willing to offer. Real Madrid has reportedly presented a €35m (£30m/$38m) annual offer, which falls far short of Mbappe's demands. The La Liga giants at Santiago Bernabeu are seeking "written guarantees" from the Frenchman if a compromise on terms is to be reached, extending the protracted saga.Additionally, right-back Dani Carvajal is set to be offered a contract extension by Real Madrid, journalist Jose Felix Diaz has affirmed via MARCA.Madrid will reward Carvajal, who is a key member of the team, with a one-year extension since his contract is expiring in 2025.Aged 32, Carvajal has regularly been Ancelotti’s first-choice right-back. Despite injuries, he has featured in 16 matches in La Liga this season, clocking more than 1300 minutes.Carvajal has spent almost his entire career at Real Madrid, except for a solitary season at Bayer Leverkusen.Even though he will turn 34 in 2026, Real Madrid trust the defender to come good for the side.
